This page explains what FastFlats collects when you use fastflats.in, why, and who else handles it.

When you sign in

You sign in with Google. We save your name, email address and Google account ID to our database. Your session is kept in an encrypted cookie in your browser.

When you chat

  • Your messages go to our server, which answers with an AI model (OpenAI models run on Microsoft Azure).
  • Places you mention are sent to Google Maps to find locations, routes, travel times and what is nearby.
  • If you tell the bot where you work, we save that place and its map coordinates to your account so later searches can use it.
  • We keep a record of each chat (when it started and how many messages it had) to count your chats. Messages, answers and the steps the bot took are logged in Langfuse, a monitoring service, together with your Google account ID, email and name, so we can find and fix mistakes.

When you pay

Payments are handled by Cashfree Payments. When you buy chats we ask for your mobile number and save it to your account. Your name, email, mobile number and an account identifier are shared with Cashfree to create the order. You enter your UPI or card details with Cashfree, not with us. We keep a record of each order, its amount and whether it was paid, and your chat balance.

Analytics and ads

  • PostHog records how the site is used, such as pages viewed and clicks.
  • The Meta Pixel tells Meta when you visit, when you sign in and when you send a message, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads.
  • The farcasts.js script records visits to the site for our own analytics.

Listings

Listings come from posts in public Facebook groups, collected through Apify. For each post we store its text, photos, author name, time, group name, links back to it, its like, comment and share counts, and the names, text and times of its top comments. Post text is sent to an AI model (OpenAI models run on Microsoft Azure) to pull out details such as rent and place, and those places are looked up on Google Maps.

Where it is kept

The website runs on Vercel. Our server, database and listing photos are on Google Cloud.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
